For many beginner webmasters choosing the software to design a website, might be a problem. Actually, it doesn’t matter what kind of website builder you using. To make the process a lot easier I suggest you to use CMS like Elxis, Drupal or blogging platform WordPress.

More experienced webmasters can fairly skip this step.
1. First of all we need to register a domain. GoDaddy or NameCheap is a good place to register your domain for really cheap – only $2.01 for [dot]info domains (as you remember we have discussed the [dot]info factor, these domains are nothing worse than [dot]com)
2. You need a hosting. In my opinion HOSTGATOR is the best option you can find. I’ve been using them for a year already and I’m absolutely happy with their services. Choose “I will use My Existing Domain and update My Nameservers only.” and then enter your domain name you just have registered with GoDaddy. 3. Now if you are using Hostgator as a domain hosting service you need to point your DNS name servers from GoDaddy to Hostgator. After registering with Hostgator I think you will have to wait few hours while they set everything up for you. Then you will get an email with your name servers, you will have to input them at your GoDaddy domain manager (click on the domain name you’ve registered and you will be redirected to the screen where you can change name servers)
4. You are ready to upload your website via the Secure Web Disc. Just Drag and drop files to your domain’s public HTML folder. In case you are using WordPress, use Fantastico in your HOSTGATOR Cpanel – it will install WordPress onto your server in 3 easy steps.
